I see what you're saying. You have plain Text mode turned on. You need to make sure the little light switch button on the edit box is clicked. This allows one to switch between plain text and rich text.

It's back... It's a built in system we disabled after some negative shenanigans.  I have enabled the positive one only.

Ok, Diet AVSIM is officially over.... We are back to full carb mode.  No but really, we turned off the performance mode measure... and our IT pro has already identified and changed a few coding discrepancies that were consuming a number of resources for no apparent reason.
 
As I said before... Expect a lot of good changes in responsiveness to come soon and over the coming weeks.  Your patience and support is greatly appreciated as we begin improving our infrastructure and efficiency.

This should be fixed now.  There was an obscure setting deep in the admin panel and the last two forums we created weren't exempt from this little bugger.  Let me know if you still see it.

That's not a mistake...  That happens when a thread is forwarded and a link is left behind (note the arrow to the left of that topic).  It doesn't look pretty, but it's how IPB set it up in the coding.

Thanks for the continued feedback. Our IT Director is on the case and exploring new avenues.

It shouldn't be an issue any longer. Was a problem with someone's signature. It was stored on a server offsite.

At this time, it is normal. I'm not aware of a way to bypass this. At this time we will have to close this request as there's no solution available. If I see a feature like this in the future, to bypass Mobile, I'll recommend it for implementation.

While I can't confirm it, I will move it there for other users to see in the event they experience the same thing.

Click the light switch button in the message box on and off and it will reset itself.

Thanks for assisting a member, Rick.  Luckily the speed issue seems to have subsided and we will begin working on getting menus back to snuff in the coming days.
