March 16, 201313 yr I see the notice that says Community Administrator requires all members to log in. So I did. Yet I see that there are 500 some guest on at the present time, so obviously some can see the forums without logging in. So what is going on? Is this site going back to one of those members only places and is in the middle of a transition? I also don't see a clear way to navigate from the home Avsim page into the forums. I had to click on one of the latest posts listed on the front page and then navigate back up to the Avsim Community from there.

It was a simple inquiry made prior to Tom's announcement about the changes to the website that were apparently underway at the very same time I was visiting. As far as your question goes, if I happen to find it convenient to read the site without bothering to log in, and was puzzled by the change, what do you care? I'm here to read about what people are saying about flight simulation and occasionally participate in those conversations. What are YOU doing here?
