April 30, 201214 yr Hi Guys, Some of you may remember I was having problems with my PC. It was crashing out etc and generally fialing to run. Since I know nothing about the workings of a computer I took it into my tech support guys. The bad news is that my processor has been damaged by the overclock I had on it and needs to be replaced. So it looks like I'm getting almost a new machine and a wilting credit card. Thanks again for all your suggestions and help All the best David David Andrews

I'd be very surprised if you actually damaged a CPU from OCing unless you turned all the protection mechanisms off and then pushed the voltage past what's safe... May 1, 201214 yr Author Well firstly my PC although a home build was built for me by a friend and I have had numerous problems. The guys who have it now didn't do the over clocking however they have used the phrase wear more than damage and suspect that the over clocking wasn't done quite right hence my problems. Since I'd really like a PC that runs fault free I've bitten the bullet and ordered a new motherboard and processor so that my machine will match fairly closely your recommended specs for the NGX it's not costing too much since I still have all the other bits. Finally Ryan if you don't mind when I'm setting up I'll send you a PM to ask the exact update state of the NGX I have everything backed up but need to make sure I install in the right order.
