I've had this annoying problem for ever. Sometimes, for no reason that I could find, the zoom in and out wouldn't work in spot view. If I switched to the 2D cockpit view and back it would then work fine. No biggie, but I hate seemingly intermittent glitches that you can't figure out. Makes you wonder what else is "glitching." Well, I found it. If I'm in spot mode, and hit the ~ key to talk to ATC, that's what does it. Zoom works fine until I hit the ~ key, then it stops. I have to switch to 2D and back again. Like I said, no biggie, but it's nice to know what does it...billg

Try simply mouse clicking on the screen, then zoom.

Hitting Backspace first (just next to the zoom keys) also works.:-)

Same thing happens if you open the doors with Shift+E. The zoom keys don't work. But simply clicking anywhere on the screen puts the focus back to the zoom functions.

Had the same problem but never thought much about it then Bang! Here's the fix........Thanks for the solution...................Ed
