Printing flight plans w/MSFS2004

Featured Replies

Not sure I have a problem but would like to pose a question. Have worked with FS98 thru FS2002. Installed FS2004 and all works well until I create a flight plan and attempt to print it. I create it, click "Print" and nothing happens??? Can't figure out why or what I have to do to make it happen. I also have FS2002 installed. Could that affect performance? Has anyone run in to this problem? Would sure appreciate hearing from you if you have. Running 2000XP Pro with a 128mb video card. 512 Ram. Can print out flight plans on FS2002 with no problem. Maybe one interferes with the other??? Help!!

Hi,What I did was installing a new printer (my computer/configuration/printers/install new) with the wizard search for your printer and model and install. So I have two printers installed :- my printer with the spoolmanager (EPSON Stylus COLOR 660) from the original CD.(does not print the flightplan)- my printer with the Windows driver. (Epson Stylus COLOR 660 ESC/P 2)- (works like a charm)hope this helpshttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004betateam.jpgPatrick/EBBR

Hi,I don't know whether this will help or not, but I use FSAutoStart prior to running FS2004 and I discovered that you need to leave the 'Print Spooler' service running if you wish to print from the sim.Mike
