Question

Featured Replies

I did a search and could not find an answer, two things I would like to get help with.

1. when I press backspace in cockpit view it always resets my zoom, is there any way to make it default to 1.0 zoom level so I dont have to keep zooming in after pressing backspace to reset?

2. I have to hold down the right mouse key to pan around the cockpit with the mouse, in fsx you could press shift+o and it would lock the mouse pan so you could use the mouse to pan at any time. Is there a way to set that up in Flight? Ideally I would like a toggle key like "shift" mouse pan on, "shift" mouse pan off. I have this in FSX and it's good for me because I use a trackpad for my mouse. To have to hold down the right mouse key to pan using a trackpad does not work as it takes two hands and I have to let go of the stick.

Any help would be apprciated, thank you

Regards

Fritz

Hello Fritz

Question 1. Please see this tutorial: Adjust the Cockpit InitialZoom http://forum.avsim.n...it-initialzoom/ you can also adjust the view slightly down to see the instrument panel.

(That one is mine, but there are other tutorials you will surely find interesting)

Question 2. I don't believe there is a way to currently simulate "shift+O" on Flight for mouse panning.

Ramón.
Time, is the one thing no one can buy.

Thank you for that Ramon, it works. Any other hidden file like that for the shift+o are you sure? There must be a way
