Good evening everybody, how can i add Ethiopian airline to the list of RC4? I heard ethiopian callsign on rc4 so i think that there is a wav. file...

Yes, there is the necessary script files and .wav files to add Ethiopian Airlines with the call to RC's airline menu.

 

Go to rcv4 or rcv4x\data. copy and paste c4.csv and the rename the copy c4back.csv to provide a safety copy. Open c4.csv using the open with command and choose notepad or wordpad. Do not use a spreadsheet application.

 

Search for ERITREAN. Hit the END key and the cursor should move to one spacee behind the final 0 in the line. Hit the Return key to start a new line. Type in the new line as follows:

 

ETHIOPIAN,ETHIOPIAN,Ethiopian Airlines - Ethiopia,0, 0

 

If necessary after the final 0 enter a space so the cursor follows that added space at the end of the line. Save the file.

 

The line before, the new line, and the following line should look like this:

 

ERITREAN,ERITREAN,Eritrean Airlines - Eritrea,0, 0

ETHIOPIAN,ETHIOPIAN,Ethiopian Airlines - Ethiopia,0, 0

eurolivewire,eurolivewire,Euro Livewire,0, 0

 

Now, close c4.csv. Start RC4 and hit the General Tab. In the airline box type eth and it should come up like this:

 

 

 

Click the speaker icon and it should play. Finalize the test by loading a flight into FS, load a plan starting with that flight parked at the departure airportchoose the airline in RC, and do a clearanace delivery request. The pilot and controller should use Ethiopian as the call sign.

 

Note that in the airline window if you add a letter-number sequence in the box following the radio call box, that will set a flight number. It is usually just numbers though.
