April 29, 200422 yr Need help !!It seems that I lost the BGL's that have the navs, ILS, frequencies for a section of the Middle East, such as LLBG, LLJR, and OJAI.Could somebody please tell me the names and the location of the files that contain this information? Thanks.Abe
April 30, 200422 yr Have you added any AFCAD files for that region. If so, they may be causing your problem. Temporarily remove all the AF2_XXX.bgl files from your flight simulator 9Addon SceneryScenery folder, restart the flight simulator and see if the problem is corrected. If so, return each AF2_XXX.bgl files to the flight simulator 9Addon SceneryScenery folder one at a time, test each to see if one of the files causes the problem. I would use the previous flight selection to go to the same location each time.If removing the AF2_XXX.bgl files doesn't correct the problem, you can try using AFCAD to determine if the file has been removed by selecting the airport and seeing if AFCAD finds the stock file.W. May 1, 200422 yr Author Followed your instructions. I could not find any stock files. The countries of Israel, Egypt, Jordan....and other middle eastern countries are missing on the display in Afcad. I must be missing a BGL file that contains the navs for this region.Would appreciate any help.Thanks.Abe
May 1, 200422 yr According to AFCAD, LLBG is located in drive:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9SceneryAsiasceneryAP957200.BGL. I would look in the ..AsiaScenery folder to see if this file exists. If not, you need to try repairing your installation. I don't remember if FS2004 has a repair function using the Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs feature for FS2004. Otherwise, you will need to reinstall FS2004.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
May 1, 200422 yr Author Thank you W.Sieffert!! I found the problem.Somehow the scenery.dat file for Asia was corrupted or not integrated with the other BGL files. I deleted it and then edited the scenery in FS2004 by adding the Asia folder and created a new .DAT file. Seems to work ok, got all the Middle Eastern navs that I was missing. Thanks again.Abe
