May 4, 201214 yr Hi, Anyone try this with P3D, it was posted by Kostas for FSX. Wondering if there is any need and/or benefit while using this with P3D. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/369500-adaptive-vsync-30fps-new-levels-of-smoothness-in-fs9x/ Former Beta Tester - (for a few companies) - As well as provide Regional Voice Set Recordings Two: AMD-9950X | One: AMD-7950X3D | Three: Asus TUF 4090s | Three: 64GB DDR5 RAM 6000mhz | Three: Cosair 1300 P/S | Three: 990Pro 2TB NVME One: Eugenius ECS2512 - 2.5 GHz Switch | Three: Ice Giant Elite CPU Coolers | Three: 75" 4K UHDTVs | One: Boeing 737NG Flight Deck
May 4, 201214 yr Yes I have tried this specifically installing the beta drivers then having an unscientific play around to see if there were any improvements. I could find none. There is a lot of individual two-way conclusions about the merits of this on that thread. I suspect that some trying it did not have a frame limiter correctly installed in the first place so come from stuttering and thus find improvements. Word Not Allowed himself seems to conclude on page1 that there are no benefits. Word Not Allowed's original instructions did not seem to be particularly clear that he was refering to the new entry of Vertical Sync Tear Control in nVidia Inspector from the new 300plus beta nVidia drivers nor, how to correctly set-up in order to be able to scientifically test. So, there is a lot of noise on the thread of Eureka moments only to discover that nothing was controlled about the installation or testing. I had understood that the internal frame limiter in Prepar3D was working correctly compared to original FSX. However, my understanding maybe incorrect. If this though is correct, different results could be obtained here by those with patience and apptitude to test scientifically. For me if I can see no immediate benefit (as with FXAA too) thus I just throw it out and move on prefering to keep Prepar3D pure,
