Delco Carousel INS

Featured Replies

I'm trying to install the Delco Carousel INS into the Thomas Ruth DC-10, but the manual isn't particularly clear, and I'm sure I'd mess something up, since I don't know much about the panel.cfg file (besides the very basics). Is there a tutorial on this that's easier to follow? Also, how can I allow it to be coupled to the autopilot? I'm not seeing how that would be possible without messing with the already-present gauges in the DC-10.

Thanks,

The Delco Carousel INS is one if not the best free AddOn to FS I´ve ever seen! It´s been quite a while since I had my last flight in FSX, but I had much fun learning the Delco Carousel INS and using it on various flights in my CS 707.

I also have a Triple INS Setup in my FSX Default Boeing 747. I´m not quite sure if I got it from somewhere else or if I created it myself. It´s been quite a while. But since this is the only Delco Carousel INS Installation I have in a default Aircraft, maybe you want to have a look at it. It could be a good example of how the implementation in a panel.cfg works, so you can figure out yourself how to insert it into the DC-10 you´re using.

I hope it helps!

Hmm... I am not allowed to attach this file to this Post. I don´t know why, but if you want you can send me a PM with your E-Mail address and I will send it to you directly.

Kind regards!
