May 10, 200422 yr You definitely need to delete the texture folder, it makes no difference if it is full or empty. As soon as the texture folder is there, the problem starts. The best solution is to move all landclass BGLs to SCENERYBASESCENERY . This is where Microsoft wants these files to be.Yours,Martin Georg/EDDFVACC-SAG PR & Events Coordinator *** mailto:[email protected]http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...r=SAG01&a=a.jpg Cheers, Martin Georg/EDDF Contributing editor, FS-Magazin
May 11, 200422 yr >OK! I installed a completely clean version of FS9 with no files added from previous installation.1. Added British Airports, Scotflight Scenery and all official AFCADS for same2. Added Spain & Portugal Mesh and LEAL Scenery3. Added all PAI Installer files for UK and European operators4. Added MRAI Files for BA Citiexpress5. Re-installed FSNAV6. Loaded POSKY 742 and Ken Mitchell 742 Panel7. Loaded PMDG B1900DFlew various flights (up to 3 hrs) at various times in various seasonsin areas where previously I had CTD's and memory issuesEverything is running perfectly. Excellent FPS. Honestly, its like a new machine!!Its important to define a clean re-install. All the files that were left after uninstall were placed as backup elsewhere. Once I had the clean installation, I just added in slowly from the backup.I am really happy with FS9 now. Thanks to all of you who helpedregardsadrian>Dan>>Last night I bit the bullet and completely re-installed to a>"vanilla">installation.>>With zero addons, all sliders maxed and 1600 x1200 x 32 and>default 747 loaded I flew for 1.5hrs from EGCC north without>CTD's and/or memory crashes.
