On selecting a loaded flight the sim runs the loading action and then minimizes to my bottom bar. Nothing I do restores it to full screen or windowed display. Your help would be appreciated?

Try hovering the mouse over it on the dock (W7?) When the little box pops up with MSFS in it, click on that box with the left MB, then hit ALT+ENTER; this will bring up full screen mode.

 

OR

 

Shift right-click on the dock icon and choose maximise, then alt in the prog and choose "full screen" from the views menu
