Hello, downloaded a triple 7 (feelthere) and am inexperienced in the FMC department.

Have done lots of reading and watching youtubes but I can't find out what's causing the problem.

 

At first the FMC took me direct to the airport I.e. didn't line me up for the GS. Fixed that by adding waypoints into the flight planner to give me a very long final. My problem now is I'm catching the slope, heading hold light extinguishes but alt light dosen't! So I end up hand flying it down.

What am I doing wrong?

Oh, just realised I've posted this in the x-plane forum instead of FSX...doh!
