Hello I own Skydemon and would like to connect it to FSX. I feel sure I did it years ago but I can't remember how. I bought FSUIPC hoping that would help but no joy. Clearly I need help. I'm considering OPUS software but I just want to be certain it's going to work before throwing more money away. I just need it for Skydemon not everything else it comes with. Many thanks!

Hi, I'm enjoying this aircraft but there's a few things I'd change if I could: I'd like the landing lights to be a lot brighter and I'd love a custom paint job with reg to boot. Can anyone point me in the right direction for these things please?

Hi, yes the Aerosoft new release. I would post a picture up here of half of the cockpit being missing at FL33 - good view, but it's a bit chilly! However, it might be quicker and easier to do a degree in astrophysics than it is to put an image up on this forum.

I'm finding the a318 too much for my computer, i.e; it hangs, large patches of scenery still not loaded, then it finally closes. I don't have any problems with the 777/737 a320 with fs2crew, GSX, vfr scenery or night with extreme airports. - I thought I'd overcome OOM's I only have the scenery in use checked, which is usually fine. I've used bejotes cfg. editor. On a more positive note... it's a lovely aircraft! Love the exterior lighting, good work.

tried again today, EGLL to KJFK at sunset. Requested pause at TOD so I could restart. After restart, it had lost the IRS. - Gutted! I should try with the NGX and report.

Everything else fine, plan remains in CDU etc. all except IRS needs realigning. Even both LNAV & VNAV buttons light up. But it doesn't remain on track.

I'm flying EGLL to LGIR today, and had read a good idea to avoid OOM. By saving my flight after TOD and restarting FSX; thus resetting VAS. The problem is I lost my IRS so now I can't even leave the cockpit for a pee! The only add on in scenery checked is EGLL. my MBP & PC both suffer with long hauls. Any suggestions how to save the IRS aswell?

I installed the 777 this morning onto my MacBook retina, ran fine for a few hours. came back to it this afternoon and now FSX keeps crashing/ sometimes the game will load but the aircraft has no landing gear - will fly but has no display in the cockpit. Try to change aircraft and FSX crashes. hi, thanks for your replies. I've managed to talk the missus into installing win 7 64 bit onto her MacBook pro with retina. I will give that a go. Re upgrades in the future, I thought the GPU's are not as important as the CPU specs for FSX. The CPU specs are what's concerning me with macs. am I wrong in thinking that? meanwhile I have got my rig going again. turned out I had air bubbles around the water pump, I had to remove it shake the whole system, then replace the radiator the correct way up!! My rig is running a [email protected] and a GTX260. how will an i7 imac compare do you all think?

Hi guys, I'm getting tired of my custom build PC. It's switching itself off after just a few mins of running. I only just fitted a new mobo two months ago. I feel the best way forward is to buy something new with a warranty. My question is will the latest IMac i7 27" with windows 7 64 bit replacing apple OS run FSX with all my payware/ add ons? To include: PMDG aircraft + other 3 rd parties ie wilco photographic scenery for the whole of the UK UK2000 extreme airports. I have found other people have had success but never mention they have extreme pay ware like me and have heard frame rates being an issue (but not sure if that was the early ones). This computer is used for only FSX.

Hi, I've got some small issues with a few of my third party aircraft. Can anyone advise some cures? I have an Aardvark with a constant vapour trail coming off the port wing. I have a 767 with a faulty horizontal stabaliser. It can't take off unless I set the trim to 4. It then has to remain there for straight and level flight. I have an airbus a320 which I cannot have the throttle levers respond to the joystick, I can only use the F keys. Also can change the settings on the MCP such as IAS/ ALT

Hi, turned out I had a load of corrupt files. Did a rebuild, all aircraft visible again. Thanks for all your input guys

davierosoft: i have uninstalled FSX from the disc then deleted everything left in the C drive menu's relating to it. have re-installed FSX, started it. then ran SP1, started it, then installed SP2. - still not been asked for the code. am now installing PMDG from disc and i cant install direct X. it says the cabinet file cannot be trusted. so, I remain with an inactive cockpit. Great news for me tho....I found the box with the PMDG product code!! is it possible to cure this problem by installing it on my F HDD drive?

thanks i will attempt that. I have found out that if i do a repair FSX from the disc, afterwards it hangs on the splash. but if i remove and install it gets me back to where i am now. i dont know if this is linked but also discovered that my add and remove programs is being useless. I was wondering if i had a virus (im using MSE) but its been throwing a code on startup for months. so tried to un-install...cant. cant un-install firefox etc. etc. why would FSX hang after a repair? seems the problem is deeper. have a horrid feeling im going to lose my PMDG 737NGX forever 8(

ok, checked the cfg. file, it is Highmem is already set to 1. i think the bejotes tweeker must have done it. still no joy. another problem cropped up over the weekend. it seems FSX isnt fully installed as it stops and says please buy FSX your time is up. - and multiplayer isnt an option on the main menu. is there somewhere i can enter the product key. I dont understand why it hasnt asked for it!? regards

por930 - i am using 64 bit windows 7 home premium. 16gb ram. will have a look at the other suggestions now.

Hi, thanks for pointing that out. All Aircraft appear on the Aircraft page. All default Aircraft are working fine (not that I ever use them). The all variants tick box is checked and the page is displaying all the liveries installed for said aircrafts. The problem is with third party Aircraft (all except PMDG Base are downloads). Thanks for the suggestion, I will reply with my findings. John

hi, thanks. there are two aircraft that are presently invisible. One has never been visible since purchase and one was visible until about 6 weeks ago.

hi, i've got the 737NGX and 600/700. had FSX for years now and never ended up in such a pickle! I have been purchasing a lot of payware over the last few months, some being successful and some not. also, i've discovered some of my old aircraft have become invisible. of course i have the FSX SP1 & 2. having had a number of faulty downloaded payware third party aircraft not function properly, i suggested to the support team of their products that this is rediculous and it must be my machine that has the problem. it was agreed that i should uninstall and re-install FSX completly and start a fresh. At first i was apprehensive about this because i have lost my PMDG product code! Anyways, it turns out PMDG has re-installed without asking for the key and coincidentally so has FSX. After all this work (and im sure many of you can apreciate how many hours/ days this can take) i'm in a much worse position. and the invisible aircraft are still invisible! The most concern i have is my 737NGX. it fly's but with faults - the cockpit is in-active as is the secondary control surfaces. I have re-installed everything many times, and ended up doing system restores etc. I really wish i could pay a shop to make it all better, but i cant imagine there is such a thing. It's soooo frustrating waiting 48 hours for third party support. I can hardly sleep! ...don't know about you guys! john
