Left Engine Full Power when starting

Featured Replies

I have been getting a problem for the last month. I start the right engine with no problem but when I start the Left engine I have problems. It seems like the left engine is stuck in Full power when I start. The only way I can fix it is cut the left engine then restart it. Is anyone having the same problem?

Thanks

Does this happen with any other twin turboprop in your hangar ?

What flight controls do you use ? A joystick with a single power lever, or do you use a throttle quadrant with different power levers ? I'd look again at my settings, do you have FSPUIC ?

So many possible causes.

In my case, sometimes both engines go berzerk when I return to the sim after I have used the "map" screen or the "slew" function and it's a pain to deal with, for sure...
