It's great having so many buttons and levers to press and throw. But a simple thing like saving the fllight plan has me stumped. After filling out the route legs and returning to the main RTE screen a SAVE button appears that on my system changes to CONFIRM and nothing happens. Thought it might be the EXEC button next, no this doesn't do anything either.

Hope someone can help.

 

Also in MENU/pmdg setup/ there is a STATE SAVE, what is this?

Enter route, click SAVE, EXEC.

Saves almost every switch in cockpit, so that you can load it next time.
