June 1, 201214 yr Every now and then I feel the urge to make a suggestion just so that it goes ignored, or simply shot down right away, but hey Just kidding, but still, here it goes. Would be cool if we could assign a key stroke, or a button to the saved panel states in the FMC, or maybe have a control you can send the name of the saved panel state and it gets loaded. Right now it can be done in the NGX by programming the sequence of button presses you would do in the FMC to load a certain panel state, in a script, but if it's a simple thing to add, would be great to have it simplified in a single assignment

Having an assignment you can use programmaticaly has lots of possibilities. You could set your plane to load a certain state automatically depending on your location, the variant, and just about anything you can think of
