ladies and gentlemen at pmdg it is time to produce a pmdg helicopter and it should be the bell 429 and after that sells like hotcakes the all new bell 525 relentless because the helicopters built for flightsim suck and don't preform like they are supposed too and the bell 206 is not even in production today

The DC-6, Jetstream 41, 747-400, MD-11 aren't in production either, but PMDG make those - being in production is not a necessary criteria for a flight sim model from PMDG, and in any case, Bell Textron are still resellers of 206 choppers and will continue to support them for probably decades, since there were well over 7,000 of the things constructed and the military still use them in very large numbers. You might have noticed too, that all of PMDG's current products are fixed-wing aircraft, so that is clearly PMDG's forte, thus it would be a pretty massive paradigm shift for them to start making helicopters. I daresay if they put their minds to it they could make a chopper, and probably a good one, but they'd still have to catch up with Dodosim, MILVIZ, CERA etc, all of which make excellent helicopters for FSX.
