May 12, 200422 yr Hi All, Probably a helpfull tip for extra PCI video card users.I've 1 AGP GForce and 3 the same PCI GForce MX cards in my PC. Continuing problems with the resolution of the PCI cards, not taking the Fs2004 configured resolution. FX card as 1280x1024x32. The PCI's the same but continously displaying 800x600 (with bad readability of course with complicated panels).I found that Fs9 did not find the cards well. The fs9.cfg did read (automaticaly configured by Fs9)as below:[DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900 Ultra.0] Mode=1280x1024x32 MipBias=6 TriLinear=1 [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X.1] Mode=1280x1024x32 MipBias=6 TriLinear=1 I did change this manually to: [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900 Ultra.0] Mode=1280x1024x32 MipBias=6 TriLinear=1 [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X.1] Mode=1280x1024x32 MipBias=6 TriLinear=1 [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X.2] Mode=1280x1024x32 MipBias=6 TriLinear=1 [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X.3] Mode=1280x1024x32 MipBias=6 TriLinear=1 and afterwards all the PCI cards were working as required !So, Fs2004 does not always recognise PCI cards as it belongs. Probably the confusion was even greater for the program caused by the 3 cards that were of the same brand ? So, when problems with your PCI cards: Check the fs9.cfg !Hessel Oosten
