If memory serves me correctly, when using the 'S' Key to view the next category, I thought I could see the name of the mode in the upper right hand corner? For example, Virtual Cockpit, Spot Plane, etc.

 

The name of the view no longer shows? Is there an easy way to get it back?

I found the answer to my own question. I compared the original fsx.cfg with my current file and found that the following command (HideInfoText=1) had been put in the [Main] section. I commented out this command and the views came back from the dead.
