June 11, 201213 yr Hello All Like a lot of other folks, I get a slight (2-3ish fps) increase if I park the mouse pointer over the small white box in the top left corner. However, because I'm using the mouse to pan around the VC, I find that I'm regularly having to re-park the mouse pointer. This got me thinking as to whether a setting in Windows 7 or a utility exists that can temporarily disable the mouse pointer, so that I can leave it parked over the white box ? Due to external hardware and key board allocations, I very rarely use the mouse for actually selecting anything from within the VC, so having the pointer diabled wouldn't be too inconvenient (especially if it could be re-enabled via one of the other mouse buttons). Just a thought... Regards Gary
