Easy AI traffic solution??

Featured Replies

What is the easiest and best way to install all flights of a specific airline into the AI traffic in FS2004?I would like to add united airlines and polar air cargo or korean or cathay...

Free - Project AI www.projectai.comPay - Ultimate Traffic www.flight1.com

I would say Project AI. You can pick and choose what airlines that you want to add. Their installer does all of the work for you; adds the planes, generates the flightplans, and builds a new Traffic*.bgl file. I chose to delete the default traffic file and use strictly PAI planes and flightplans for my commercial traffic but you can keep the default planes and plans and just add more with PIA if you wish. I use Project AI's great system (www.projectai.com). They don't have all of the airlines that I would like to install yet, but they are doing a great job of pumping out several packages a week on average. They do however have all of the major airlines, including United and Cathay. Just download their installer and the airline package you want, run the installer, and there you go! It's very easy to use, and it's free. If you want Polar Air Cargo (which is not yet available from PAI), you will have to find some Polar flight plans on avsim or in the unofficial downloads section of PAI, and also a repaint of a 747 in Polar livery. Then download Lee Swordy's Traffic Tools program from avsim and decompile your traffic files with it. The program comes with full documentation explaining how to install new AI aircraft, so you can have your Polar AI with just a little bit of copying and pasting of flight plans.Good luck, hope this helps!-Scott
