Power lines over photoscenery

Recommended Posts

Is there any way to get power lines over photoscenery? Or are they excluded by the photoscenery because they are vector features?

I think you would have to do something like create a line of objects in SBuilderX using the default gen_powertower01 mdl {54382EC5-B1BD-4A43-AA1A-4F5F529356C3} or some other model of your choice. (Assume FSX, same idea though for FS9).

While the vector elements would not display over the custom ground, any objects associated with them will appear.

Best regards.

Thank you! I have tried with shape2vec passing the GUID of {C942AADB-C351-4088-925E-A732C2093B63} and I cannot seem to find the tower objects. I have to rely on shape2vec (eventually I want to do this 'en masse' for many shapefiles and I would prefer a command line approach).

I would appreciate if you can comment on how this will reduce to in terms of using shape2vec and the corresponding GUID in the DBF file.
