How I deal with the failures in FS(In order from most used method to least used):-If it is an "exciting" situation, such as takeoff or landing, then I'll proceed since there isn't much to do, but this is mostly in the Flight1 C-152 or default C172 (with RealAir .air file, of course) and the steps have been carved into my mind from real life procedures...-Ctrl + C (usually in larger jets since I dont have the patience to use the POV hatchet to look around the VC for minutes, click, move round, click, move around, click, or do the Shift + # several times to check things)-Not even do FS at all :( Don't feel like dealing with its antics today...Happy flying,Jason :-wave ;)P.S.- Tom, >I will be sending you a bandwidth bill plus a certificate for 5 demerits. TomREAL FLYING till its coming out of my ears ;-) flying 2 Seneca Fives a Crusader 303 twin and a ferry job with a Citation Canada to australia being fitted with a 500+ gal ferry tank (now theres a novel addition FERRY TANKS :-) in June 2 Citation 2s for a London based publisher who are using them for business conferencing.A new company MyOwnJet.com(in formation at present with Jet1)the list goes on.The flight simming has been on hold but I have been quitely starting to get involved in a small contribution way with PMDG who are an amazing group of people and helping with flight dynamics on the ROTW Seneca five for Fly!2.I have been checking the forums as a "spectator" ;-)Peter

So what's so unrealistic about the failure mode in FS2004..? You can select `deliberate` failures to hone specific skills, or random failures with huge or minute probability, big or little problems. Seems like this must be the first thing to criticise and yet no-one here has mentioned it. All those who want failure modes must surely have tried it?Allcott
