Hi Allcott, just a quick response to your post in a now locked thread...>It will be interesting to see how quickly those who were so quick to condemn this service - and the principles behind it - are to apologise. As they most definitely should, if they have any manners. And Gosta and Elrond, if you're out there, I have CH Products' yoke and I don't remember either of YOU highlighting this fix.:). Cheers,Gosta. http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

"I did not comment on or condemn any service."And that fact seems to be lost on more than a few folks, Gosta. I have seen only a few posts where someone thought FS-Gs's service to be a scam, and those posts were made by simmers who had not tried the service. Go figure!I believe most here feel the service has a place in the hobby. And while FS-GS's happy customers are to be commended for their almost rabid praise and support, one would hope that in the future they would approach such discussions with less fervor and paranoia that all who choose not to use the service are not out to condemn the provider. In the end some will choose to use the service, others will not. We each have a right to spend our money where we wish. Thanks for allowing me to add my feelings to your post,Greg

>Thanks for allowing me to add my feelings to your post,How could, or would, he prevent you from doing so anyway?Sheesh! Here comes the "naysaying, suck-up to each" other clique!>And while FS-GS's happy customers are to be commended for their almost rabid praise and support, one would hope that in the future they would approach such discussions with less fervor and paranoia that all who choose not to use the service are not out to condemn the provider."rabid praise," "less fervor," "paranoia." So if they are extremely happy with their results they should tone it down just to please you and the others? If they disagree with you they are exhibiting paranoia? Man! You have no idea how you come across, do you?

"Man! You have no idea how you come across, do you?"I certainly know how you come across... like a child.Oh, and if I'm not mistaken I beleive Gosta is a moderator here, so he could probably remove any post (including some of yours... not a bad idea) if he so chose.Stop trying to alienate anybody who doesn't agree with you. Time to grow up and realize that mature folks accept the opinions and perceptions of others.

>Man! You have no idea how you come across, do you? as do you, apparently, and,if i may be so blunt, you have more of a limburger cheese, there is definately something smelly.i'll be very simple:i've never used FS-GS,i cannot afford it,so i do not know what, when how etc, further,i do not know IF i would use it,if i could afford it.i do know one thing however:it's quite clear FS-GS has it's place in this hobby.i have not used them, but, from what i read, they know what they're doing, and are perfectly capable of telling us themselves.so,can we now quit smashing each other?thank you, cheers

Thanks for MOST of your comments.

Folks, take it easy :)! No-one is bashing any product or service here, and nobody is suggesting that everyone should agree. If you're satisfied with a product or service, by all means tell everyone about it. But do so in an appropriate thread - neither this topic nor the previous one by Elrond related in any way on the quality of a particular service or product, nor did they invite any comments on such.Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

>Thanks for MOST of your comments.you are most welcome ;-)that'll be $10,-....

>I certainly know how you come across... like a child.Since that is your opinion, I choose to ignore it.>Oh, and if I'm not mistaken I beleive Gosta is a moderator>here, so he could probably remove any post (including some of>yours... not a bad idea) if he so chose. Is that supposed to scare me? I'm willing to bet that you are trying to have him do so privately. Cool! Censorship! >Stop trying to alienate anybody who doesn't agree with you. Nah, it's not anybody, just people like you who like to jump on the bandwagon without having all the facts.>Time to grow up and realize that mature folks accept the>opinions and perceptions of others.Well then...if YOU are "grown up" then accept MY opinions and perceptions.Let me guess...in response you will tell me how old you are and all that you have accomplished in life?

>But do so in an appropriate thread ->neither this topic nor the previous one by Elrond related in>any way on the quality of a particular service or product, nor>did they invite any comments on such.>>Cheers,>>Gosta.they did not invite that specific kind of comment, nevertheless, they got it anyway.i'd be delighted to see it dropped.it's evident that this service arouses many people in this hobby...some in a good way, some in a bad way.i can only conclude that the service in question is -for the vast majority of users- a good one, and,as the big boss himself stated,it was not their intention to lay a ban on tweaking tips etc, hence,i see no use in continuing this debate.i'd say forget it,and start sharing tips or something.cheers

>Is that supposed to scare me? I'm willing to bet that you are trying to have him do so privately. Cool! Censorship!http://forums.avsim.net/toc.htmlPersonal attacks etc. will not be tolerated.Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

Guys, THIS IS NOT GOING TO CONTINUE. I am locking this thread down and WILL REMOVE ANY FURTHER POSTS ON THE SUBJECT without warning. The bashing is unacceptable.
