OryxSim Kelowna X: 2012 Edition

Featured Replies

OryxSim is pleased to announce a major revamp of their Kelowna X scenery. This includes new compatibility ( now compatible with FS2004, FSX and Prepar3D) as well as new exciting features. For the first time, OryxSim has been able to include high aerial images in one of its sceneries. The result is a stunning airport on a fantastic location for both VFR and IFR traffic.

This new version includes high resolution seasonal textures, perfect adjusted to fit in with environment. OryxSim has also introduced custom shadows around the terminal, and the terminal has been fitted airside with an interior. Volumetric grass has been added throughout the airfield and designed with performance in mind.

Beautiful night lighting makes this airport suited for operations during every hour of the day. OryxSim is also introducing a configuration tool, giving users control over volumetric grass and static aircraft. Both can be disabled if one so desires. This tool is still being developed and is not yet included in the end product. Users wishing to try it out can obtain it from our support section. Please check out the product page for more information.

OryxSim Kelowna X is available directly from OryxSim as well as through our Resellers This version is now compatible with FS2004, FSX and Prepar3D (the previous version was only compatible with FSX) , and also works in combination with Orbx Northern Rocky Mountains Region package. Current customers are entitled to a free upgrade to the new version of this scenery.
