June 17, 201213 yr According to one developer, a wing texuture is mapped only once, then only mirrored. Due to this, a "NO STEP" texture is upside down and turned on another wing. Is that true? I just can't believe one can't make the correct texture on such high-caliber addon. Any help guys? I myself am not a repainter, so I'm just inquiring.
June 17, 201213 yr Yes sir one texture is made and then mirrored not sure what you are getting at :) Rich Sennett
June 17, 201213 yr 737 wings have a "NO STEP" texture where you shouldn't step, I guess you know it... if you paint it on one wing side, then the other side is going to be mirrored. June 17, 201213 yr Simple when you mirror the wing texture thats fine but if the text is not mirrored properly you need to just mirror back the text only so it appears correctly. Rich Sennett
June 17, 201213 yr How are you supposed to do that if the texture is being mirrored, better said, if there is only one wing for repainting available? (*I am not painting, this is for someone else...)
June 17, 201213 yr you mirror the main wing texture then on a new layer put the text in the proper position you need then you flatten the image and save it to dxtbmp, simple. Rich Sennett
