Is this normal?

My FPS is literally halfed when going from DX10 Preview to non DX10.

 

That's it!!! No other changes just unchecked DX10 in an attempt to try some different Nvidia AA modes.

 

Without DX10 I get horrible FPS and micro stutters and the game feels horrible like I'm not even flying.

 

Sucks I can't use those nice AA modes like 8SQ.
