Nose wheel well light inop?

Featured Replies

Tonight while doing a preflight walkaround in the NGX I had switched the wing and wheel well lights on for obvious reasons when I couldn't help but notice from a top down view an illuminated spot on the tarmac below the nose gear, upon investigation of the nose gear and wheel well it had remained as dark as before. Switching off the wheel well light removes the illuminated spot on the ground so I suppose the nose well should be lit. Has anyone else seen this?

Furthermore after 3 hours of tests and reinstalls I have found that this perplexing situation only effects the 700 version of the NGX both with and without winglets as documented by these photos. Also you can see how on the 700 the main gear wells are lit. I have tried with and without SP1c installed and have recieved the same results as it has occured from the original installer. Perhaps there is a simple fix like the dome light "hotfix's" that were shared shortly after the initial release. Nonetheless it's a little strange how I (or perhaps anyone) have only just now noticed it.
