P3D not so fast NVME startup
Thanks for thinking with me so far. My point is that in win10 taskmanager you can see how mutch (low) data is getting through at that (live) moment. When copying files between a normal and a nvme ssd I see the 500mb/sec number what is normal. When starting p3d I get only a view mb/sec whyle nvme can go up to 1500. I have only fs at this drive, but maybe it is whise to install other software there and test that also. Maikel.

Hello, I hope I do not start an old subject. Did a search but did not get far with it. I use win10 64b and p3d v3.2 on my new pc system with a samsung 950 pro NVME ssd. I expacted that p3d would start up fast but can not find any diverance with my former normal type ssd. I come from win7 and noticed that in win10 you can find a live feed of the through put of any drive. It stays low. But when I copy a lot of random data between my ssd's it uses it maximum speed. So the hardware is working. Is there anyway I can let p3d use my ssd better? Thanks, Maikel Rozemeijer The Netherlands.

How To Get AI To Land At OTHH, Instructions Here
Hello, Maybe I am wrong, but at the ending of step 4 we are told to save as "airport.txt". Shouldn't that be "airports.txt" since that file is made by / exists in the \fsx\mytraffic\ folder? I did try both ways (without the sdk option for now) and didn't get it working though, but just trying too help here. Greetings, Maikel Rozemeijer The Netherlands.

PMDG Ngx and 777 turns sharply with REX
Adjusted the mentioned wind setting(s) in Rex and in Fsx itself. Went ok with the 1st try, but not 100% sure still...

Hello, Let me start noting that I did a 'rex' search and not anything came up. When I let Rex start-up Fsx and fly with the Ngx, or now also with the 777, pretty often it starts making extremely sharp turns when on lnav and vnav. When I close rex. Use real world weather and manually put the plane back on its track all goes ok. Does anybody have a solution for this. Is it something with a fsuipc setting maybe? Thanks for your time. Just discovered this website http://airdailyx.blogspot.nl/p/the-billboard.html and I noticed to expect the v2.0 in 0ct / nov 2013. Now anybody can expect anything but it seems a serious website. I try not too use 'not possible' noting that we put a man on the moon etc. Probably using external real world weather data en Fsx position data an developer could make on pretty easy. As mention, pmdg my decide what they make and we of we buy it or not. And as mention, no need to inform pmdg about this kind of possible function. The know after a 1000 requests. My first and simple idea would be sending all your information as a ticket too pmdg. You have done what you can the get it working it seems. Maybe wait a view days if other have the same prob., I don't know if I have. Sorry about that 4 now.

Rain on Windshield
Maybe an idea for pmdg too make it an option if they are out of animations. So we can choose witch we turn on and witch we turn of. (if possible at all) Altough a plain probaly will not be long in the rain (under the clouds) during a flight, it makes it great for us paying custumers to experiance during final. SSD / Windows or FSX
I price mysefl rich, having windows 7 64 bit on one ssd, and fsx and all with it on another. :-) Personally I would put fsx on a ssd first, but I depands on how often you let fsx load its scenery / change your location etc. Maikel Rozemeijer.

Why brakes failed?
I went on with tutorial 2 yesterday and was left behind somewhere around page 52. After continueing, I came along a part where I was noted 2 times not too use the brake button on the joystick but really use the mouse and brake leaver in the virtual cockpit.The reason was that indeed a bit earlyer in tut2 it was order to set rto on.Maikel Rozemeijer.

Hello David,No idea when this started?Maybe dumb, but I try too think with you, isnt it the push back truck (shift+p) that is doing this for you? Could be if you alway use the same start up file instead of manually enter your airport etc etc. Although sutting down the engines seemes other wise.Maybe you can try use a nother ngx startup file. Maby it is best too first try too salve this problem in an a simple as possible, standard fsx, aircraft.If you think of controller problemes you could try too calibrate it in windows itself, or look at your fsuipc settings.Have you always have this problem or did it start, and when? (maybe after installing other add-on or even windows software)But as you mentioned yourself, you are 'a bit' offtopic in this pmdg 737ngx forum.Maikel Rozemeijer.

VOR LOC
Hello Rajah,I am no ngx specialist, but also encounter this 'problem' when using vor loc's.As you have noticed the diverence is always 180 degrees.This comes when you draw the course/heading line you are flying too and through the vor beacon. At the other side of the beacon you get the other number with the 180 degree diverence.Maybe the easy way is alway use the outbound cource from the vor altough I not 100% sure that is trough. I can only explain a little bit of your problem.A view days ago I put in the cource in the fmc fix option and used both numbers (put in two entry's in the fmc), so that a line get drawn too and through the vor on the ngx displays.Hopes this helps a little?Maikel Rozemeijer.
