Constant loading cursor

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Whenever I run FSX I get a constant loading cursor (the one with the arrow and little blue turning thing). It started a few weeks ago and it is really starting to annoy me, and it could be the reason for fsx crashing every so often. I really don't know what is causing it, it only starts when I run fsx, and even when FSX is closed it stays. It can't be a performance issue or something because I get solid 28 FPS (locked) at ORBX YBBN in the PMDG 737.

Cheers guys,

Ollie

P.S I had no idea where to post it so I put it here, mods feel free to move if you feel I have put my problem in the incorrect place.

It could be a virus or malware that was installed that's taking up system resources. Did you check your task manager, while fsx is running, to see if anything else looks strange and taking up a lot of resources? Have you tried uninstalling the mouse and then reinstalling it? Also check for updated drivers? The only thing that's strange to me is the fact it starts only when FSX starts up. If checking for a virus, malware, uninstalling/reinstalling, or updating does not fix the problem, you might try a system restore to a time prior to when the cursor started working improperly.

Best regards,

Jim
