March 17, 200323 yr Are there any complex departures or arrivals in/out of KLGA, similar to that Kennedy Nine departure at KJFK? I figure the Kennedy Nine is designed to protect KLGA and KTEB ops, I'm not sure what is required at KLGA to protect other NYC airspace. Any info much appreciated.Thanks,Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. March 17, 200323 yr Well, there's the La Guardia Nine departure. Looks very similar to Kennedy Nine except in reverse - all flights taking off to the south do a hard right or left at some point, much like those departing JFK to the north...Since you mention Teterboro, (KTEB), there's also the "Teterboro Four" departure that routes aircraft away from the other two mentioned above.
March 18, 200323 yr The Milton(#?) Arrival into La Guardia is one of the most complex I've seen. It get's aircraft into the NYC aircraft in between Newark AND Kennedy.Regards,Phil Geddes
