Instant Object Studio v1.01 Available

Featured Replies

Flight1 has released the first update for Instant Object Studio, our new 3D object editor for Flight Simulator X and 2004. The new version 1.01 contains several improvements and bugfixes.

Instant Object Studio is an easy to use and yet powerful 3D object editor that runs directly inside Flight Simulator. You can make both simple and complex scenery objects by creating simple 3D shapes like boxes and cylinders, and then modifying, cutting and arranging them together. And you can easily apply textures to the objects you create, adjust crash detection and even add special effects - all this without leaving Flight Simulator.

The product includes powerful functions for creating new textures for your objects. You can quickly make textures from photographs, including those taken at an oblique angle. You can create seamless textures that can be tiled in order to produce a uniform appearance. Or you can just use one of generic textures included with the product representing many common materials.
