July 2, 201213 yr Hi guys The great team over at FS++ suggested I share this with you all. Firstly my set up is Win XP Pro (32bit) and office 2003. I had a re-occurring issue where if I used the MCE "reset factory default" (in tools) it trashed all speech recognition resulting in a complete uninstall and re-install of Office and a repair or re-install of MCE. I was having to hit the reset cos I have two audio cards (one for ambient noises and one for headphones) and when I tried to change the sound card in initial setting up it trashed back to desktop. I discovered DO NOT TOUCH THE SETTINGS accept the default. It all seems to work just fine with the audio selections made under control panel. Also after many time going round and round I discovered that if you remove office (2003 in my case I don't know about other vers) and MCE completely then install MCE FIRST then office they play together real nicely. I'd like to publicly thank the FS++ team for their patience John
