Which GA traffic setting to use - GA Traffic or default?

Featured Replies

I currently have my GA traffic setting in GA-Traffic programme set to the default 100% and I adjust my traffic settings within FS using the AI traffic slider. However I am finding that the FS AI traffic slider seems to do some strange things. For example , I seem to get full GA slots at airports regardless of what position the FS slider is set to until I set it below 10%, when all GA traffic seems to disappear. So what are you all using -- what combination of the 2 traffic sliders is working best for you? Thanks Barry

Barry, as far as I know this is the idea behind the settings:* Use the GA-Traffic slider to adjust how much GA traffic you want to be generated. By default all flights are generated so that they show up when the FS9 AI slider is > 10%* Use the FS9 AI slider to adjust how much *other* traffic is shown. If you use PAI's removal tool for the default GA traffic you have a very nice (if somewhat static on the GA side) means to set different levels for commercial and general aviation AI traffic.Even before the GA-Traffic tool I wished there were two sliders to control commercial and GA traffic (in FS9 there are only two checkboxes and one slider for both of them). This "work-around" makes it possible to set my UT traffic to a reasonable and FPS-acceptable 50% while keeping 100% GA traffic.Just my 2c (EUR),VOlker :]
