Applauding British Troops

I am very grateful for all the British efforts over the past few days. You British have done an OUTSTANDING JOB! As an American, I am proud to be in a country that is allies with the United Kingdom. God Bless the Royal Marines, and the USMC. For those of you who believe, a prayer for our comrades would be in order.Squadron 268 Red Dragons CH-46 Sea Knight/Chinook------------------------United States Marine Corps -2 pilots, crew chief, and an aerial gunner.Royal Marines - 8 Commandos----Also this morning one US Marine killed in combat taking something having to do with taking an oil field/rig*. PaulAs a 'Brit', my thoughts and prayers are with all the coalition troops out there, and their families. I said as much yesterday (see my thread below "Middle East Troops") but Tom locked it, so don't be surprised if this gets locked or even removed too...Toni.

Your thread was heading south real quick Toni, and that is why it was locked. If this one goes south, then it too will be locked.

TomNot sure what 'heading south' means (us Brits don't use phrases like that ;) ). My post was not meant to get political and I fully respect the vast diversity of opinion on this topic. What I do believe, however, is that we should all spare a thought (and prayers) for those doing the real work, together with those innocently caught up in it, together with their families....now, back to simming....Toni.
