Round the world trip.......Range, Fuel & FSC

Recommended Posts

Hi folks! I've just taken delivery of the King Air C90B and I'm planning on taking it for a little jaunt around the world, visiting all the countries competing in this years Olympics (all 204 of them!).

I've had a look through the included documentation and can't find anything to do with the range of the aircraft at relevant heights etc. Have I missed something?

Also I'd like to use accurate fuel weights where possible. Does anyone know of a good fuel planner for the C90?

Finally I have FS Commander 9 which doesn't have a profile for the C90. Is anyone aware of a profile being available that I could use.

A lot of request, I know, but many thanks, in advance, for any help.

Paul

Paul,

Go through the recent topic here named "Electrical issues when going into cruise" and follow the link to the Beech C90B real life pilot operation handbook (POH). You can download it for $5.00. It has fuel burn at 2,000 ft increments on several tables that cover a wide range of ambient temperatures. If you read my detailed message in the topic referenced above you will understand more about what that will provide for your planning. You may have to create your own profile for the flight planner you are using.
