Random BSOD's but not in FSX

Featured Replies

Hello. I have been getting random BSOD's over the last few months when surfing the net. I have not had one when fling in FSX but since I surf more than I fly, it may just be a matter of time.

I originally thought it was an issue with IE9. The crashes mostly happened when watching videos on YouTube and similar sites. I switched over to Chrome and I though all was well - YouTube worked fine. Today, I was typing a response to a thread on the TripAdvisor forums and I got a BSOD mid sentence. I guessing this has something to do with one of the ads but I am not sure where to start trouble shooting. Java and Flash Player are up to date.

I know this isn't directly related to FS but I though someone may have suggestions.

You need to download the freeware BlueScreenViewer. It will provide you with more info as to what caused your BSOD's.

Best regards,
