KDEN avcad question

Featured Replies

Gents,

I uploaded another great avcad by Ray Smith and can see many of you did also! It looks very nice and seems more FPS friendly than his older file. However, I am having a problem in that I have some orphaned jetways at the Frontier Terminal and the SouthWest terminal. I followed Ray's instructions regarding copying the 2 jfkjetway files. Could I be missing textures or objects necessary? I looked at the associated OBJ.bgl file using Airport Designer (and was careful not to put anything back into the sim). I noticed some objects for jfkjetway02. Could this be the source of my problem and is everyone else seeing all jetways connected? I am stumped, and any ideas are appreciated!.

I thnk I found the problem, reading a response Ray wrote someone in the FS Developer Community forum. Seems I recompiled the objects file and lost the original model therin. I was testing some of this by trying to use the recompiled file, and forgot to remove it. All of this because something in the newly updated OBJ file crashes my FSX when loading a flight from Denver. I am sure it is a conflict I have self-inlicted in my file/ folder usage and will continue to research. As I mentioned, I don't have a problem when I use the 2009 version of this work.
