Morning all! Again the visualfx.dll has struck the same area ie LIML one of my 'fave' Airports yesterday i flew from LOWI and had no incident,then my return flight on 290deg outbound 'wham' black screen and visualfx.dill report.HELP? :o

Hi! just to let you folk know iv`e narrowed the search down to an ai aircraft as i went down to 20% traffic and no blackout,now the search begins!

I had a problem some time ago at KDEN. Everytime I began to taxi past a certain area, slew to that area or switch view to that area I would get a black screen CTD. After reading up at: http://www.adventure-unlimited.org/faultfinding.php , thanks John Hinson, I found that I had some old Dash8 models by PAI / FSP where I was using 32 bit textures. Either the model(s), my GPU or FS9 didn't like that. I changed the textures to DXT3 and the problem went away. Of course, I don't know if this is your exact problem but it is worth considering.

Thanks Mel i`m using "Image Tool" to convert to DXT,when found it will be the second texture causing problems! ^_^
