May 29, 200422 yr Hi!I've been looking for a good panel for the 777. I'm using the panel for MelJet 777 by Jorge Salas at the moment and I like it a lot. The problem is just that the TCAS doesn't work in FS9.So the questions are:1. Does anybody know if there are other panels with working TCAS (or something similar) for the 777 that are any good?2. Could I somehow get the TCAS to work in Jorge Salas Panel?Any ideas?! Greatful for any help!/ HiScore
May 31, 200422 yr Author I am using this:B764/777 Deluxe panel ver 6.0 for FS2004 (Freeware)// By John J Schumacher / Schu Engineering 1/2004Look for 777dlx6.zipMr. Schumacher has made some very good panels and they perform well. It's been REAL hard finding a good alternative 777 panel in FS2004, but this works nicely and has good cockpit displays. Good luck with this one. May 31, 200422 yr Hi. Sorry about the dumb question, but the problem is that it doesnt have FMC. There is any panel with FMC for 777?
May 31, 200422 yr To my knowledge there are no 777 FMC panels for FS2004... PSS said they were redoing the 747 and 777 for 04 but are now working on a concorde instead, PMDG is working on a 747-400 and from using their 737 series, I'll be jumping on their 747 as well.. maybe they'll put out a 777 series as well *HINT* *HINT* :)
May 31, 200422 yr Hi plguzman,I am almost certain the answer is, no. Making a 'fully functional' FMC is a pretty big programing task to undertake. You probably wouldn't see an FMC made for a 777 unless it was 'payware' panel due to the considerable time and knowledge necessary to program one. Flight Simulator aircraft that have panels with a fully functional FMC are quite rare.Regards,Jim
May 31, 200422 yr Author No, it does not yet exist.JS Jonathan Sacks Dell XPS Gen 4, Pentium IV Northwood extreme 3.8Ghz, 3Ghz RAM, eVGA 7900 GTO, 12 GoFlight modules plus MCP-PRO AP and EFIS, GF pedestal, CH rudder pedals, CH throttle quadrant, 42" LG LED, 24" DELL LCD, Windows XP, FS2004, FSUIPC 3.96 FS Autostart 1.1 (Build 11), FS Navigator 4.6, UT, FE, GE, REX, PMDG, Level-D, PSS, etc.
