One more question.Everytime a start FS it seems to have forgotten my settings. It's always back in 800*600, the assignments are back to default och so on. Does anybody have any idea on why this happens and what I can do about it?Have a nice one!/ HiScore

Hi again! With all the knowledge out there someone has gotta know something about this! Please! I'm getting so tired of having to fix all the settings everytime a wanna take a flight...Any help appriciated!/ HiScore

Make sure your fs9.cfg is not read only.

It seems I have one fs9.cfg and one fs9."who the hell knows" in the same folder. Is this normal? The one called fs9.cfg contains my settings the way I want them and the other contains the settings that FS insist on using every damn time. Can I do something about this? And none of them is read only.../ HiScore

Make backups of both in another folder. Delete both originals.restart FS9 - set your settings. Close FS9. restart and see if that has fixed it- it should write a new .cfg. If so - then OK. If not then reinstate your original files and try something else.Dave

Correction:I've got one fs9.cfg.txt that contains everything the way I want them and one fs9.cfg that contains everything fs9 wants. Changing it so that the fs9.cfg contains the same as the other one doesn't work./ HiScore

Are you editing in notepad? It may invisibly add a .txt extension after you make your changes. Try deleting both, then set everything up the way you want in FS9 and make any edits using Ken Salter's FS configurator. Or, if you edit in notepad, enclose the filename in quotes "fs9.cfg" in the save dialog to prevent it from appending .txtHope that helps!Best,sg

I tried it the way Dave suggested and no change./ HiScore

Okey...Now I don't know what I've done but something has changed. Sometimes it remebers my settings and everything is the way it's supposed to be. But every once in a while it's the same old ####!Maybe I'll just have to accept this.../ HiScore
