Sign-In Problem

Featured Replies

I have a LIVE ID and a gametag, having been playing Age of Empires on-Line satsiafctorily. Downloaded Flight via the Game Marketplace but when I launch the game I am held up by the Sign-In Window. It recogmises my gametag (although it says I'm Off-line) but hangs owaiting for Sign-In to complete. Tried uninstall and re-install but no change. Any help will be appreciated. A dxdiag.exe file is included.

I had problem connecting to MS Flight few days ago. Microsoft post a notification, that some of users can have troubles signing in. For me, problems were gone same day. You can check it out here: https://news.microsoftflight.com/blogs/news/archive/2012/07/06/live-may-be-down-for-some-users.aspx

Mirtma,

Thanks for that, but there doesn't appear to be anything there that is sueful to me.

did you have any other background processes using internets at the time?

I've found that if anything is using internet the makes signing in to live problematic. make sure its the only app running

I stopped all obvious 'net apps but made no difference - still can't sign in to Flight.

However I can always sign in to Age Of Empires on-line with out modifying anything.

Maybe I'll just forget about trying to run this program entirely.
