Hi everyone,

 

I recently asked for someone to send me some default effect texture files because they somehow went missing and I had black squares all over the place.

I got a few of them from users here and in another forum, but after activating missingtexturealert in fsx.cfg there seem to be a lot more missing, namely:

 

fx_1.bmp till fx_?.bmp, I already replaced 1 and 2, but they were all missing and I dont know how many of them are there.

fx_swoosh.bmp

 

...and I think a lot more, seems that only default FSX textures are affected.

 

Now how can such a thing happen? I never deleted anything in the FSX Folder, only thing I did was uninstalling the Ariane 737 because I use the NGX now.

Have you verified the integrity of the texture folder inside the Effects folder?
