July 20, 201213 yr Bought the Mitsubish Zero this evening, and it's great fun, very lively. What we need next, to really make me 12 years old again, is a 109E, a Spitfire and a Lancaster. And back to the Zero, How lucky is this guy getting to fly the one and only?
July 20, 201213 yr Nice video. I play Birds of Steel for my warbird fix (100+ WWII planes with cockpits), so they're not as high on my Flight wishlist. I did read that someone said the current warbirds in Flight were all based on planes from Paul Allen's collection. Here's the site which has a list of his other planes. Maybe some of these are likely candidates for future Flight releases. http://www.flyingheritage.com/TemplateHome.aspx?contentId=1 Curtiss JN-4D Jenny Curtiss P-40C Tomahawk * Fieseler Fi 156 C-2 Storch Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-5 Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-13 (Dora) Grumman F6F Hellcat Hawker Hurricane Mk.XIIA Ilyushin Il-2M3 Shturmovik Messerschmitt 163 B Komet Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-3 (Emil) Mitsubishi A6M3-22 Reisen (Zero) * Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa Oscar North American B-25J Mitchell North American P-51D Mustang * Polikarpov I-16 Type 24 Rata Polikarpov U-2/Po-2 Republic P-47D Thunderbolt Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vc Avro Lancaster B.
