June 4, 200421 yr Good day,Just wanted to know if someone can help on the following:a) FS9.cfg fileDoes someone know what those lines mean in fs9.cfg:(Graphic)Performance_mode=0Def_Pref_mode=5Auto_lod= 0Do is relate to the graphic card ?and also this one in the same chapter:Lod_Target_fps=28What difference between this one and the upper framerate limit=40 (which represent the fps currently settled in the hardware setting)?:( Ground speedMany add-on JET aircraft (am not talking about props here) seem to increase speed, sometime far too much, while rolling on the ground when taxiing, without any throttle intervention.Does someone knows a way to reduce or keep current ground speed when throttle is off ?Should I amend the aircraft cfg.file (autopilot) or the air file, or any other ?Hope you will get my English. Many thanks for your helpPatrickSwitzerland
June 4, 200421 yr Greetings Patrick!I can only help you out with the Lod_Target_fps=28 line. You don't need to set this, for it is automatically set at about 70 percent of whatever upper framerate limit you enter in the options-display-hardware settings of the sim. This lower target is where the sim begins to leave out detailed eye-candy, in order not to get (too much, or too often) below this low rate.Be well!Jaap Verduijn.
June 4, 200421 yr Taxi speed can be controlled with Rob Barendregt's push-back gauge available from the library here Patrick. The one I have is rcbgh-32.zip but there may be a later one, search on author's name to find the latest version.
