RT error 75 Path/File access error

Featured Replies

JD,

Had to reinstall the OS and FSX on my Win 7-64 PC. I was running RCV4 from my laptop

via simconnect successfully prior my primary PC's issue.

Now as soon as I try to exit from the Controller Info screen I get the "run-time error 75

Path/File access error" message.

I'm not running any AV programs on either computer and I'm reasonably sure that I've

got my Shares, and Simconnect and WideFS set up correctly. Fs Flightkeeper is connecting

normally via WideFS, and AS 2012 via simconnect.

Pressing the .FLT/WX Path button in the RCV4 interface allows me to set the path to my

Flight Simulator X files folder. I'm able to "browse" from there to my PC's Flight Simulator X files

folder on my home network but I'm not totally convinced that the correct path is being saved

and don't know how to verify this.

I've read what I can find on AVSIM regarding this issue but haven't been able to gather

enough to resolve it.

Any suggestions for a fix will be appreciated.

I apologize for the panic. On re-examination of my re-examination I discovered that the Fight Simulator X Files folder on the FSX (primary) PC

had not had all of the necessary settings properly set. RCV4 is back to working via the network now.

Best regards and thanks again to JD, and RCV4 crew for the outstanding Flight Sim ATC program.
