Hi all! I need some help here. I am looking for FREEWARE mesh for France. I downloaded some the other day, but noticed the Northern coast is not as it should be. There are MANY verticle cliffs along the Normandy coats, and the mesh fails to do that. I added in a "cliff add" that I found, but it too fails to make the cliffs in the right places.I am also looking for FREEWARE Landclass. Again, I am more interested in the Northern part of France, but will gladly take it if it is the entire country! LOL! Thanks for any help folks.Don

Hi Don,the mesh issue is unlikely to be fixed because the default coastlines are off and all freeware mesh files are based on the same SRTM 90-m source data, which probably doesn't resolve the cliffs well.However, have a look at this link: http://walhalla.mine.nu/fs2004/france.php It lists a file "Normandy cliffs", which might be a solution (I don't have that file myself).The France landclass file listed on the same site is freeware only for subscribers to the Francesim premium service (sigh!) but I do have a country-wide freeware landclass on my system by Johannes Roussel & Roland Stuck, dated May 2003.
