Would it be a huge stretch of the imagination to presume that FSX compatibility with future versions of Windows is a certainty? Now that Flight is dead I imagine that MS could care less about FSX/FS9 going forward. I ask because I have put off upgrading my PC for now which means when I do get around to it I may have no choice but to install W8.

Historically, Microsoft has been very good with backward compatibility. So, it probably will work fine.

 

However, with what's come out about Win 8, I'm gonna wait for it to fail and grinlaugh.
