FS2004 GPS & multiple segments

Featured Replies

I think I already know the answer to this, but, is it possible to enter multiple waypoints into the FS2004 GPS when starting with no fligh tplan? And if not, how do you edit the MS flight plan to have the VOR's, intersections, etc. that you want? I see that it is possible to delete their waypoints but I don't see how to add any. Thanks again for any help!

Click the "Edit" tab in the flight planner to display a map or your plan. You can click the icons at the top of the dialog to toggle the display of features like navigation beacons, intersections, victor airways, jetways and several other features. To add waypoints just use your mouse to drag the line indicating your planned course to the intersection or beacon you want to overfly. The section of line you drag will be divided into two lines intersecting at the new waypoint. If two locations are near the pointer when you release the mouse button, you will be given the oportunity to select the location from a list in a popup.

Sweet!I knew about the edit part but didn't know you could just drag the line. Thanks!!!

If you want to get really fancy you can edit the Latitude and Longitude coordinates with a text editor like Notepad. Make sure you don't change the file's extension.
